Media Kit

Jour-227 Prof. Jared Macary

For my Public Relations Writing class, taught by Professor Macary, we simulated working in a busy, New York City PR firm called Trident Public Relations. During the course we created press releases, pitch decks, campaigns, media alerts, fact sheets and backgrounders for many fictitious clients. For our final, I created a media kit dedicated to a press conference featuring out client, AquaVibe's newest innovation: the Fast Flow Quencher. In addition to the media alert detailing the logistics and information about the press conference, this media kit includes information about the water bottle and the company. Due to AuqaVibes' dedication to sustainability and ensuring clean water for every activity, no matter how rustic, I chose to target the outdoorsy, rugged person -- someone who would benefit from a self filtering water bottle. I strictly abided by AquaVibe's brand guidelines and used graphics that remind the viewer of nature and hiking. Specifically, I used Meta Ai and ChatGPT to generate images of the water bottle, the internal filter and hikers using the bottle on the trail. This project is an accumulation of my Fall 2025 coursework and it demonstrates my skill in succinct writing, brand strategy and creative thinking.
