Let me introduce myself!
Charlotte Head majors in Strategic Communication and minors in Entrepreneurship at Washington and Lee University.
She plans to pursue a career in business and financial public relations due to the creative, analytical, and client facing nature of that work.
While at W&L, she has honed her communication skills in the Journalism school by taking News Writing, PR Writing, and audio visual courses.

In addition to her academic background, Charlotte has had the privilege of gaining professional experience at prior internships.
At Joele Frank Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher, The Deal’s number one-ranked M&A PR firm for the past 10 years, she solidified her research and writing skills and expanded her marketing and strategic communication abilities. This internship was a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
At The Ehrhardt Group, the largest crisis communications and public relations firm in the Gulf South, she honed her communication and marketing skills by writing for media outlets, managing client relations, and coordinating marketing strategies. She also performed industry-specific media research for public image protection.
At The Scout Guide Alexandria, she expanded brand awareness for advertisers. Charlotte created content for and managed The Scout Guide’s social media platforms, taking care to align all work with our advertisers’ brand guidelines. She also organized a launch event and increased the book’s distribution through networking and cold calls.
On campus, Charlotte is a member of the Connolly Entrepreneurship Society, where she and her team have developed and distributed protein popsicles. Pro Pop recently became an LLC and they have partnered with W&L sports teams.
She serves as a nominating committee member for her sorority. There, she uses her strategic communication skills to analyze leadership applicants and nominate the best-suited candidate.
In her free time, Charlotte enjoys needlepointing, fishing with her family, and hiking with her dogs, Axel and Kevin. Charlotte looks forward to attending Semester at Sea in the Winter of 2026 and traveling to 9 different countries around Asia, Africa and Europe.
